You could ask my mom because I’ve been hearing it quite literally since I was an elementary school student in Sandusky, Ohio.
I’m also pretty sure that trait is hereditary, because none of my children have met one either. A few years back when we moved from Irmo, South Carolina to Lexington, South Carolina, my two girls somehow managed to inspire me with their love for the city, the people, and most specifically the water of the Lake Murray area.

Quickly, those little girls who moved to Lexington grew up and decided to move away for College; one going to the College of Charleston and the other headed all the way to Memphis, Tennessee.

As I began to navigate the areas in which I had raised my girls, I began to see what was most important to us; schools that could help them build the foundation to follow their dreams, a town that offered support and love through and through, and a community that offered safe and fun activities and opportunities for them.

That would be the reason why we love Lexington so much.
No matter what part of the city you’re living in, you’re always able to find a community that loves you, values you, and has so many fun opportunities for you and your family.
